I have been currently researching Google and their approach to marketing the Android OS. Primarily using an open source technique with the Open Hand Alliance and out souring through third-party developers.

I'm now keen to investigate their approach using various development life cycle models in the form of waterfall, spiral, scrum, agile etc.

And i'm just curious to have some feedback from professionals and what approach they think Google would use to have a positive effect on their business.
